Birthday and Thanksgiving

A few days before Thanksgiving, we celebrated Pat's 32nd birthday.  We went to Nanny and Pops' house for homemade fried chicken- Pat's favorite!  We also ate yummy carrot cake for dessert.  The kids decided they preferred lollipops over cake!  Owen doesn't really have a sweet tooth, and Emery just wants to eat whatever is in sight!

For Thanksgiving, we packed up and headed down to Atlanta to stay with aunt Katy and uncle Paul.  Thankfully the kids were great on the way there, and on the way home.  We only had to stop one time!

 Every time Emery put on her boots she felt the need to break out in song and dance!  She is a county girl at heart!

 A trip to Atlanta is not complete until Owen gets to ride the subway!

 For Owen's birthday, Katy and Paul gave Owen tickets to see Rudolph at Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts.  The show was excellent!  We also got to check out the museum and put on a little show of our own:
