Pumpkin Personalities
"Pumpkin Personalities" is a huge thing in 1st grade at GDS. The children decorate a pumpkin and put it in the hallway for all to see. After walking around and checking out all of these extravagant pumpkins, my kids wanted to create one of our own. We decided on a bengal tiger since that is our mascot. Here is our pumpkin personality display:

I have been extremely slammed lately with an open house at work, report cards due, planning O's 2nd birthday party, the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome, a fall party, fall festivals, you name it! I absolutely love this time of year, but forget how crazy it really is!
I did manage to pull together a costume for Owen...hopefully it fits! This weekend he started practicing saying "trick-or-treat". It's so cute! I just hope he does it on Halloween!

Touch a Truck 2012
This afternoon we headed out to the Touch a Truck event, sponsored by the Junior League. Owen enjoyed exploring all of the different trucks, riding a little train, going on a pony ride, and dancing to Big Bang Boom. The only thing he didn't like was sharing the driver's seat with other kids. He walked around saying "Wowen" and "mine" the whole time! One of these days he will learn how to share!

Our weekend was busy, fun, and fast, but it's not over yet...Owen and I have Fall Break tomorrow so that means we have an extra home day :)
