Sciquarium

Saturday we ventured out to the new Sciquarium at the Greensboro Science Center.  Owen was excited to see one of his teachers there, and a friend from his class!  He also watched the penguins being fed, attempted to touch a sting ray, and saw sharks swimming around.

30!

Last Friday I turned 30 years old!  It's hard to believe I am no longer in my 20's.  We didn't do much, just celebrated by going out to dinner Friday night with my parents, and had brunch on Sunday with Pat's parents.  Now that I am shedding the baby weight, I went on several little shopping trips.  I forgot how much fun shopping for myself is!

I never would have guessed that I would have two kids by the time I was 30!  Life is great and I am so thankful to celebrate another year :)

The celebration continues next weekend when we go tubing down the Dan River...

Dress up!

Over the past three weeks, I have had so much fun playing dress up with Miss Emery Jane!  Don't get me wrong, I love having a little boy, but there is nothing cuter than ruffles, bows, and tutus on a little girl!  Emery wasn't all smiles for these pics, but I still captured the moment, tears and screams included!

Sam's 1st Birthday Party

Baby Sam had his first birthday party on Saturday.  Last time he came to our house he really enjoyed Owen's lawn equipment, so we got him a blower for his birthday.  Owen had a blast playing with all of the other kids, and when Emery wasn't eating, she was sleeping through her first party!  It's hard to believe all these kiddos are growing up so fast!
