Unfortunately, we are looking for a home for our boxer, Raleigh.
Raleigh is 7.5 years old and fully house trained. He weighs about 75 pounds and is in good health. He is current on shots and monthly meds. Raleigh stays inside most of the time, however, when it is nice, we let him stay outside in our backyard to watch the birds and squirrels during the day. He walks well on a leash and follows basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, etc. His favorite things include running around in our back yard, chasing balls, and chewing on raw hide bones. Raleigh can often be found laying in the sunshine in our den or sitting very close to any person in the room. He loves attention, butt rubs, and climbing into your lap (when allowed to do so)! Raleigh has been great with people (including our 2 small children under 4 years old). Raleigh is also great with his little brother (8 pound Yorkie). However, Raleigh does NOT like stranger dogs.
With small children and a busy work schedule, we are unable to give Raleigh all the proper attention he needs and craves right now. That is why we want to find him a new permanent home. A perfect home for Raleigh would have a fenced yard and he would be the only dog.
